October 11, 2003: Justin Jaeger on Gill & I, Campground Boulder, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, SD. This was my first day serving as a tour guide in The Black Hills. We hit a lot of areas this day, but this was the first boulder I took the tards to. With 4 or 5 awesome problems, it's a great place to start. The conditions were perfect, cold but sunny, and everyone was psyched. We had a ton of pads and, as usual, Justin went into serious sending mode and dispatched all the Gill classics he tried as well as a few newer things like this problem. Here, JJ sticks the crux move and gets the second ascent of a problem established by Bennett Scott during the filming of Friction Addiction.
